Alternate Presents Photek, Total Science +more!

Alternate's next Bristol date puts Photek and Total Science on the same bill at Lakota, with further names listed by the promoter as to be announced. Photek has been a reference point for precision engineering in drum & bass since the mid-nineties Metalheadz and Photek Productions era, and Total Science — Quiff and Spinback — have run the Renegade Hardware and C.I.A. axis of rolling, technical drum & bass for as long. Both sit comfortably at the end of the music that Lakota's regular programme leans on.

Lakota, at 6 Upper York Street in Bristol, is a long-running multi-room club whose listings run heavily to drum & bass, hardcore and house. The venue's drum & bass nights have become one of the more reliable fixtures in a city whose club calendar now spreads across Lakota, Clock Factory and Document.

The event is listed for Friday 23 October 2026. Check the Lakota site or the promoter's own channels for the remainder of the lineup and room splits before travelling.
