Bass in the Basement returns to Basement 45 on Saturday 12 December with Harry Shotta and Axel Boy, and the promoter has flagged it as their last ever event at the venue.
Shotta is one of the most heavily booked MCs in UK drum and bass and a fixture of the Kings of the Rollers and SaSaSaS circuit; Axel Boy works the harder, bass-weight end of the tempo. Basement 45 is a small Bristol city-centre club with a low-ceilinged main room, which is the whole point of the series name and the reason the booking policy leans toward MC-led, high-energy sets rather than long technical mixes.
