INCOGNITO x Metalheadz: Goldie, Photek, DRS, Diverge
Metalheadz returns to its Los Angeles residency with Goldie and Photek on the same bill and DRS on the mic.
INCOGNITO hosts the Metalheadz LA residency again on Friday 11 December, and the promoter is billing this edition as its most ambitious line-up for the series: Goldie and Photek sharing the night, label manager Diverge in support, and DRS handling MC duties.
Goldie co-founded Metalheadz and, per the event listing, has sold more than three million records worldwide; the same listing notes his MBE and his acting work, from Snatch to The World Is Not Enough. Photek is credited there with soundtrack and score work across film, television and games, including Blade, Gang Related, How to Get Away with Murder and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Diverge, real name Tom Dagless, runs the Metalheadz label and also works with Out Of The Storm, Constellate Talent, The Bassic Agency, Oyashi and Into The Calm, playing regularly in Leeds, London and Bristol.
It is a warehouse show in the INCOGNITO mould: the venue is not announced in advance, with location details texted to ticket holders two hours before doors. Doors are 11PM, running late, 21+. The following night the same core of the bill plays Public Works in San Francisco with Stamina.
