AXS lists Ivy Lab at Public Works in San Francisco on Saturday 24 October, 9:30pm, with Mr. Carmack, Great Dane and DJ Dials on the bill. It is the West Coast counterpart to the Brooklyn farewell date two weeks earlier, and the fullest supporting lineup advertised on the run so far.

Ivy Lab came together in London in 2012 out of a shared enthusiasm for experimentation in UK bass music, and have spent the years since working the space between drum & bass tempos and half-time. Mr. Carmack and Great Dane are both long-standing figures in the Los Angeles beat scene rather than drum & bass proper, which suggests a night weighted toward the slower, sound-design-led end of the spectrum rather than a straight 174 bill.

Public Works is a two-room venue on Erie Street; the loft and main room split lets promoters run a club show and a support programme in parallel. Tickets are through AXS.
