Billain — F4K M33

In brief

The Sarajevo sound designer's sixth CYBE release of 2026 landed on 9 October, with artwork by Sentinel AV and a Bandcamp blurb that is literally just a scream.

Billain released F4K M33 through CYBE on 9 October 2026. It is a single track, no remix, no B-side, with artwork credited to Sentinel AV. The Bandcamp page carries no written description at all — the description field contains nothing but a long unbroken run of the letter A, repeated on the SoundCloud upload alongside the line announcing the release date as 09.10.26. Album of the Year logs the single under 5 October, which is presumably the date it went up for pre-order rather than the date it went live.

The more interesting fact here is the release cadence. CYBE's discography for 2026 reads: Assembly I in January, INTEGER I in April, BITUMEN in June, INTEGER II in July, NULL_ENTITY in August, and now F4K M33 in October. Six drops in ten months from an artist whose public release history has historically been measured in years — Album of the Year's singles list for Billain runs Blockfield / Boogie in 2013, Transhumanist in 2019, Afterburner in 2025. Whatever else CYBE has changed, it has changed the rate at which this music reaches people.

That appears to be the point. The label describes itself as a "polymath art label" and says it was built from the sonic and visual DNA of what it calls the Cyberneuro movement, framing its purpose as "the decentralization of creative authority" and the demolition of outdated industry models in favour of artist-led structures. In practice that reads as a vehicle for releasing on his own schedule, with the visual side handled in-house — Sentinel AV's credit on F4K M33 sits in the same position the engineering credit usually would.

Worth noting for anyone tracking the catalogue: the INTEGER releases are numbered as a pair across April and July, and Assembly I carries the same suffix logic, so CYBE is being run as a set of open series rather than a numbered singles run. Expect Assembly II at some point.

The track is up on Billain's own SoundCloud and on CYBE's Bandcamp as a standalone purchase. Those are the only two places it has surfaced so far; there is no compilation or EP context around it yet.
