Ntechnique takes the lead on Neuropunk Records' Silents EP
In brief
NRPFRG054, out 18 September, puts Ntechnique in the headline slot with Nodal and Staysun in support — and the label's own podcast had it running a fortnight early.
Ntechnique's Silents EP went out on Neuropunk Records on 18 September 2026 as NRPFRG054, following an exclusive window that opened on 4 September. Store listings credit Ntechnique alongside Nodal and Staysun, with the title track solo at 172 BPM, Stop It a collaboration with Nodal at 2:58, and Badman written with Staysun.
Neuropunk Records describes itself as the home for forward-thinking drum & bass out of eastern Europe, formed from the merger of the long-running Russian label Tamrecords with the Neuropunk brand. The label's own genre timeline dates its launch to 2018 as the record-label continuation of the Neuropunk podcast, which is the key to reading a release like this one: the podcast and the catalogue feed each other directly. Stop It appeared in the tracklist for Neuropunk НЕЙРОГОН S07E01, mixed by Bes and Paperclip on 6 September 2026 — inside the exclusive window, before the general release — with Badman also logged in the same show.
Where it sits
Ntechnique has been accumulating a sizeable footprint across the Russian-adjacent technical circuit rather than one marquee label. Beatport's artist page lists prior appearances on High Resistance with Hellkat and Staysun for Buran / Death Star, a contribution to the Fatline LP on Neuropunk alongside Irontype, Rieger, Marcus Zero, NERV3 and Delia Laven, and placement on the label's 6YRS and BEST 2025 compilations. Silents EP is the first release where the name carries the top line on all three tracks.
Nodal and Staysun are both shallow-catalogue collaborators here — Beatport's pages for each show Silents EP as their latest release, with Staysun's previous credit the High Resistance record cut with Ntechnique and Hellkat. That makes the EP read as a tight internal collaboration from one production circle rather than a label assembling guests from outside.
Neuropunk's release schedule through 2026 has been dense and short-form — single and two-to-three-track entries from Place 2B, SkipFeed, Kubrak and Trueangle populate the label's own releases page — so a three-track record from a producer the label has been building across compilations is a meaningful step up in billing rather than another slot filled. It is available through the usual digital stores; the label has not issued a physical edition.
