Flexout marks fifteen years with Waves 3
In brief
The London label's various-artists series returns on 21 October 2026 with fifteen-plus tracks from Dubruvvas, Onearth, Ome, Was A Be, GLM and Fearful.
Flexout Presents: Waves 3 was released on 21 October 2026 through Flexout Audio, the London label run by Bassi and KRÄX and operating since 2011. It arrives in the same month as a separate 15 Years Of Flexout release, which puts both on the label's Bandcamp discography with October 2026 dates.
The Waves series is Flexout's artist-development vehicle, and the third instalment is built the way the first two were: multiple tracks per contributor rather than one apiece, so each producer gets a block instead of a cameo. The listed running order opens with Dubruvvas on Pulse Dub and LMK, then hands four to Onearth — OOTB, LYK, Fred Pinto and ZRP, the last featuring Dedman. GLM takes Not Know solo and Nuff Respect alongside Scotty. Ome appears three times: Juus with Yoofee, then Choppy Skunk and Swisha. Was A Be closes the visible portion with Stamina featuring Limmz, Hold Me and FTR.
Fearful's Hollow Embrace is also credited to the compilation on its own Bandcamp track page, dated the same 21 October, which suggests the release runs past the fifteen entries visible in the album listing.
Context
Flexout spent 2026 restructuring as much as releasing. In May the label announced a partnership with Sofa Sound, framed at the time as an independent arrangement between the two operations. Waves 3 is the first large-format various-artists set to land on the far side of that, and the roster choice — Dubruvvas, Onearth, Ome, Was A Be, GLM — is almost entirely from the label's developing end rather than its established names. The label's featured track on the Bandcamp announcement, posted 21 October, is Dubruvvas' Pulse Dub.
I have not heard the compilation and Flexout has not published per-track notes on it, so the above is the shape of the release rather than an assessment of it. It is streaming and available to buy in full on the label's Bandcamp page, and at fifteen-plus tracks across six contributors it is the largest single thing Flexout has issued this year.
